Design, produce & integrate
Maritime UAV systems
Founded in 2017 in Toulouse, DIODON Drone Technology designs, produces and integrates a range of maritime UAV systems (UAS) specifically engineered for operations at sea.
These waterproof drones are built for reconnaissance, surveillance and inspection missions in maritime environments, coastal environments and high-humidity environments, where conventional UAVs cannot operate reliably.
Originally developed to meet the operational needs of French special forces, DIODON now supports defense, security, search and rescue, and offshore operations across Europe, West Africa and Southeast Asia.

Maritime UAV systems for demanding professionals
DIODON maritime UAV systems are designed to support professionals operating in complex and unpredictable maritime environments, where reliability, rapid deployment and operational efficiency are critical.
Coast guards
Adapted to maritime surveillance and law enforcement missions, with systems designed for persistent monitoring and deployment in challenging sea conditions.
Maritime rescue teams
Suited for time-sensitive operations, enabling rapid deployment and reliable aerial support in search and rescue environments.
Navies
Designed for integration into naval operations, supporting ISR missions and enhancing overall situational awareness at sea.
Special Forces / Amphibious Units
Adapted to discreet and mobile operations in coastal and littoral environments, with compact and rapidly deployable systems.

Seamless integration of maritime UAV systems
Effective maritime operations rely on the seamless integration of aerial and surface systems. DIODON designs maritime UAV systems (UAS) engineered to operate within complex naval environments, including advanced interoperability between UAVs and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), as well as integration into existing command and control systems (C2) and combat management systems (CMS).
Small boat
Operating close to the water often leads to drone losses. Waterproof UAVs can be deployed directly on the sea surface and take off without additional equipment
Large patrol vessels
ISR coverage can be extended by integrating maritime UAVs into existing C2 systems and CMS, enabling coordinated surface and aerial operations.
Surface drone (USV)
Proven UAV x USV interoperability enables aerial systems to be deployed directly from USVs, supporting extended operational range, persistence and autonomous mission profiles.
